Who’s Hungry?
By KeMari | June 29, 2007
Janet is!
And if you are too, you might want to check this out.
I recently came across and befriended Janet, whom I met from another website, and was introduced to her phabulous recipe site, Janet Is Hungry, which boasts mouth-watering pictures to accompany her amazing recipes (and hilarious anecdotes from her life).
My inner fat girl (and the outer one) was panting at some of these recipes, which are not just delicious but also pretty healthy from what I’ve seen. When I first ventured to her site just days ago, it was to cast a vote in a funny little poll she’d put on her site.
I came for the poll, I stayed for the food.
I have been visiting every day (and more than once) since then. She is funny, warm and friendly and you don’t feel as if you’re just reading recipes; you’re also getting a glimpse of her life.

The first night, I made these cookies, called Muskoka Cookies (the pic to the left).
They were phantastic!
There are only 4 ingredients, so not only is it easy to make, but it’s something that the kids can enjoy making too (and eating!).
They are also a much healthier alternative to store bought sugar-loaded cookies.
These were yummy in our tummies, so much so that we’ve made two more batches since then.
So, check her out! Click here to go visit this phabulous site with recipes that will tempt your palette or you can go straight to the recipe page for these delicious cookies by clicking here.
Either way, I promise you won’t be disappointed!
And if you love her site as much as I did, please show some support and go vote for her in the Bloggers Choice Awards by clicking this link.

Wow - what a truly incredible endorsement that was!! Thank you so much, and I am so glad that you enjoy my site. I’m truly excited … I’m going to be phamous!
With those phantastic recipes and OMGOSH! delicious pictures, which I find myself staring at constantly these past few days, how can you not be phamous (you get like 234234 uber cool points for that PH).
I’m making Olive Cheese Bread tonight with pasta! Mmmmm.
If there’s one thing a computer geek like me can’t get enough of it’s good food. Those Muskoka Cookies look delicious.
How do you expect me to get back to work and focus now, eh?

And let me tell you, those Muskoka cookies were absolutely phabulous!!! You wouldn’t think something with so few ingredients would be so tasty, but they were. Mmmm.

I’m not even a “food blogger” and I adore Janet’s site! Everything always looks divine, and she makes it all sound so easy.
Great review and Janet deserves it!
I’m not a food blogger either. In fact, I’ve never found a food blog that I actually liked for something other than pilfering recipes from, but I actually read hers! She has kept my interest piqued (and my appetite whet) since I first found her site!
She definitely does deserve a great review
Janet’s site is great! Congrats Janet!
